Dr. Payal Kohli, MD, FACC
Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Payal Kohli is a noninvasive cardiologist, preventive Cardiologist and founding partner of Cherry Creek Heart in Denver, Colorado. She is also an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Cardiology Division of Department of Medicine at Duke University. Dr. Kohli earned her undergraduate degree from MIT with a perfect GPA and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, magna cum laude. She completed her Internal Medicine training at Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women’s Hospital and her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship from University of California San Francisco (UCSF).

Sarah Jacobs, PA-C
Sarah Jacobs, PA-C, originally from Indiana, comes to Cherry Creek Heart experienced in cardiac care. She earned her undergraduate degree at IUPUI Indianapolis in Health and Rehabilitation Science. She graduated top of her class while playing D1 collegiate soccer. She went on to complete her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Indiana University. From there, she acquired her cardiology experience at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. In every year of hire, she was recognized as a top performing provider in patient satisfaction surveys in the category of “Most Likely to Recommend Provider.” She is passionate in preventative cardiology and loves to hike, ski, and play pickleball in her free time.

Bryce Dugas, MD
Originally from Denham Springs, LA, Dr. Dugas pursued his undergraduate education at Louisiana Tech University, where he also showcased his talent in baseball. He furthered his academic journey at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA. Following medical school, he embarked on his residency training in general surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. However, after introspection, he redirected his focus toward internal medicine, leading him to settle in Denver, where he found profound satisfaction. His passion for cardiovascular medicine remains unwavering, with aspirations to specialize as a cardiologist. In the spring of 2024, he entered a new chapter in his personal life, tying the knot with his beloved wife, Casey. Together with their cherished canine companion, Emerson, they relish moments immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of Colorado.

Dr. Mori Krantz, MD
Clinical Cardiologist
Before joining Cherry Creek Heart, Dr. Krantz founded cardiac rehabilitation, and heart failure disease management programs while serving on an AHA national quality of care steering committee. He has a background in advanced imaging including Level III echocardiography. He previously served as CU professor of Medicine, and non-invasive imaging laboratory director. He is the current Governor of the American College of Cardiology’s Colorado Chapter where he works closely with Dr. Kohli. He also serves on the board of trustees and as associate editor for
the International Society of Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiography. Mori is currently a Medical Officer at the US FDA Division of Cardiology. He enjoys scientific writing and has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He lives in Denver, enjoys climbing 14’ers, and has two daughters.

Harnoor Hundal
Medical Assistant
Harnoor Hundal has attained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Public Health with distinguished honors. She is pursuing medical school and is passionate in fields related to cardiology and preventive healthcare. Harnoor has experience working with patients of all different backgrounds and also has experience in Emergency Medicine and patient advocacy. By working at Cherry Creek Heart under Dr. Kohli, Harnoor wishes to contribute to the well-being of people with various cardiovascular conditions.

Suzanne Tisseglo
Medical Assistant
Suzanne Tisseglo is currently working toward getting her Bachelor’s Degree in biology at University of Colorado Denver . She’s also a volunteer at Denver Health mainly at NICU. Her goal is to attend medical school and specialize in a field she enjoys. Suzanne has experience as a medical assistant In urology, surgery , ENT and now Cardiology. She loves interacting with patients and ensures they are well taken care of . She is thrilled about her new journey at Cherry Creek Heart and is eager to interact more with patients and gain additional knowledge throughout her journey.

Colin Heck
Echo Technician
Our ultrasound Tech, Colin, has been working in the field for 16 years and holds 3 registries: Cardiac (RCS), Vascular (RVT), and Phlebology (RPhS). A Louisiana native, he attended LSU where he studied Kinesiology then Southern Medical School of Ultrasound where he earned top marks and was recognized for his exceptional scanning during clinical rotations. Colin has spent the majority of his career in Houston, TX working for some of the nations top ranked hospital systems. He was also a travel tech for a few years working in various hospital and clinical settings throughout the country prior to joining our team at Colorado Skin and Vein. A little piece of home Colin likes to leave with the people he meets amongst his travels is the saying “Laissez les bon temps rouler”, which is Cajun for “Let the good times roll”.

Hope Hanks
Echo Technician
Hope Hanks RCS is a registered cardiac sonographer with four years of experience in patient care. She has achieved her sonography certification from Cardiac and Vascular Institute of Ultrasound in Mobile, Alabama.
Being originally from Colorado, Hope strives to serve her community by caring for patients at Dr. Kohli’s office and has a drive for not only cardiac ultrasound, but patient care as well. In Hope’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and trying new foods.

David Varga
Echo Technician
David BA,BS, RVT, RVS, RCS is a 2002 graduate of Rutgers University, He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Vascular Technology. David made the Dean’s list and graduated top in his class. David did his training and worked in the NY Metro area learning all the cutting edge technology and procedures of the time. He is a Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technologist and Registered Vascular Specialist. David has been providing cardiovascular imaging services for over 20 years.
David relocated to Colorado in 2016 and lives with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, biking, kayaking and fishing.
