Dr. Payal Kohli, MD, FACC
Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Payal Kohli is a noninvasive cardiologist, preventive Cardiologist and founding partner of Cherry Creek Heart in Denver, Colorado. She is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at University of Colorado School of Medicine and a well-respected clinical educator. Dr. Kohli earned her undergraduate degree from MIT with a perfect GPA and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, magna cum laude. She completed her Internal Medicine training at Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women’s Hospital and her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship from University of California San Francisco (UCSF).

Steve Dodge, MD, FACC
Clinical Cardiologist
Dr. Steve Dodge has spent the last 20 years practicing clinical cardiology. He went to medical
school at Washington University in St Louis, did his medical residency at the University of
Minnesota, where he spent his final year as chief resident at the University Hospital, followed
by cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado. After completing his training, Dr. Dodge spent 15 years working at Kaiser Permanente in Denver. He decided to make a mid-career change and worked in Missoula, MT and Seattle, WA, both near his childhood home in Spokane, WA. Ultimately he was drawn back to the Denver lifestyle and climate, and to be
closer to his children.
Dr. Dodge has a holistic approach to medical care. He believes that an accurate diagnosis
leads to proper treatment decisions and that decisions are best made in collaboration with
patients. In his free time he enjoys cooking, music, biking, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Mori Krantz, MD
Clinical Cardiologist
Before joining Cherry Creek Heart, Dr. Krantz founded cardiac rehabilitation, and heart failure disease management programs while serving on an AHA national quality of care steering committee. He has a background in advanced imaging including Level III echocardiography. He previously served as CU professor of Medicine, and non-invasive imaging laboratory director. He is the current Governor of the American College of Cardiology’s Colorado Chapter where he works closely with Dr. Kohli. He also serves on the board of trustees and as associate editor for
the International Society of Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiography. Mori is currently a Medical Officer at the US FDA Division of Cardiology. He enjoys scientific writing and has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He lives in Denver, enjoys climbing 14’ers, and has two daughters.

Aryanna Ryan
Medical Assistant
Aryanna Ryan is a student pursuing medical school who has a passion for helping people of any background with the latest innovations in medicine. She enjoys the field of Cardiology because of the importance it has with the other systems in the body. Aryanna has achieved her Bachelor's in Neuroscience degree with Summa Cum Laude distinction from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Professional Science Master's in Biomedical Sciences degree from the University of Denver. She has an extensive background in research, having worked and published papers in research labs that studied oncology, neurology, psychology, and development. In Aryanna's spare time, she volunteers at a non-profit clinic in Aurora that helps those without health insurance.

Harnoor Hundal
Medical Assistant
Harnoor Hundal has attained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Public Health with distinguished honors. She is pursuing medical school and is passionate in fields related to cardiology and preventive healthcare. Harnoor has experience working with patients of all different backgrounds and also has experience in Emergency Medicine and patient advocacy. By working at Cherry Creek Heart under Dr. Kohli, Harnoor wishes to contribute to the well-being of people with various cardiovascular conditions.

Colin Heck
Echo Technician
Our ultrasound Tech, Colin, has been working in the field for 16 years and holds 3 registries: Cardiac (RCS), Vascular (RVT), and Phlebology (RPhS). A Louisiana native, he attended LSU where he studied Kinesiology then Southern Medical School of Ultrasound where he earned top marks and was recognized for his exceptional scanning during clinical rotations. Colin has spent the majority of his career in Houston, TX working for some of the nations top ranked hospital systems. He was also a travel tech for a few years working in various hospital and clinical settings throughout the country prior to joining our team at Colorado Skin and Vein. A little piece of home Colin likes to leave with the people he meets amongst his travels is the saying “Laissez les bon temps rouler”, which is Cajun for “Let the good times roll”.

Kevin Lee Manzanas
Assistant Office Manager
Kevin Lee Manzanas has a strong background in technology and customer service and supervises all operations and logistics at Cherry Creek Heart. He is polite, friendly and always ready and willing to take on a challenge.
